Terms of Use · MuslimWell

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the MuslimWell mobile application (“MuslimWell”), provided by Tunahan Aktay (“we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use MuslimWell.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if higher, to use MuslimWell.

3. License Grant

You may use the app for your personal use, under Apple’s Standard EULA described below. Photos you analyze are covered by section 4. All rights not expressly granted remain with us and our licensors. These Terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If the two conflict about your license to use the app, Apple’s agreement applies.

4. User Content

5. Subscriptions & Purchases

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the MuslimWell app (logos, code, UI, designs, text, and graphics) belongs to us or our licensors. You may not use them for commercial purposes without permission. Any feedback or suggestions you provide can be used freely by us without compensation.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data. It forms part of these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

MuslimWell is provided “as is” and “as available”. Calorie and nutrition figures, halal checks and recipes are AI estimates from a photo and can be wrong. A halal check is not a religious ruling or a halal certification: read the label, look for a recognized certification and ask a qualified scholar when it matters. Fasting records, the Qibla direction and the Zakat calculator are aids that depend on the information and the device you use; they do not decide your religious obligations. The app is not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before fasting or changing your diet if you are pregnant or nursing, have diabetes or another condition, or take medication. Features may change, and AI providers may be unavailable at times. Your records are stored locally; deleting the app can remove them. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, or decisions you make about food, fasting, health or worship based on the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for MuslimWell in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnification

You are responsible for claims arising from content you use in breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. You agree to resolve any disputes through the courts of Turkey, unless local consumer protection laws offer you additional rights.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will announce significant changes on this page or in the app before they take effect, and update the date above.

15. Miscellaneous

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and Apple’s Standard EULA form the entire agreement between you and us. If any part is found invalid, the rest remains enforceable. You may not transfer these Terms without our permission.
